One of my main passions is FOOD!
I am a foodie and love to cook. However, my relationship has totally changed with food over the years.
One big piece of the puzzle for me was my cancer phobia. I was always in fear to not get cancer and always thinking about what I DONT WANT!
When I shifted my mind to what I WANT… well I want health! So instead I drowned myself in books and articles and documentaries on food and nutrition.
I was completely raw for 6 months. I lived only on raw fresh fruits and vegetables but it was SO hard. I was fascinated by it so had to try it. I must say I felt the best I’d ever felt in my entire life. I had so much energy! However, it was hard to maintain…at least for me.
Now I am pretty much plant-based and try to be raw as much as I can! There are so many amazing documentaries now that educate us about the food we eat and so we no longer have to fear disease like the media wants us to!
All in all, I am trying to find my happy place with food and that is still a process. And for everyone, it is so different. What works for one person might not work at all for another.
